The 3M™ ScaleGard PS124 Espresso Water Filtration Cartridge is a replacement cartridge for 3M™ ESP124-T Espresso Water Filtration System featuring scale reduction.

Specifically designed for restaurants and coffee shops, this espresso replacement filter reduces chlorine taste and odor reduction and hard water scale. The filter features a water hardness reduction capacity of 1,100 grains at 0.5 gpm (1.9 lpm). Reducing scale ensures the water entering your food service equipment is clean and fresh.

The PS124 cartridge has activated carbon media and strong acid ion exchange media in a sodium form, which softens hard water and reduces scale formation on espresso machine heating coils.

Also a replacement option for the the obsolete PS114 replacement filter cartridge. The replacement head for the PS124 is the VH3-NPT Valve-In Replacement Head or the VH3-NPT Valve-In Replacement Head With Gauge.
