It is designed for hot beverage and ice-making applications. The 8000 series does not require activation, reducing the installation time. The Cuno CFS8112-EL is a point-of-change type filter cartridge that is used where the water is being used. It has integrated scale inhibition that protects kitchen appliances and plumbing connections from the nuisance of scaling. The capacity is 12,600 gallons. It has a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design that helps in easier installation and quicker change of cartridges. The flow rate is 1.67 gpm. The cartridge is made of FDA CFR-21 compliant and/or NSF certified materials.
