The Cuno CFS8812X is a replacement cartridge. The cartridge reduces sediments apart from the unpleasant taste and odor often found in drinking water. It purifies water up to a level of 5 microns. It is designed for hot beverage brewing and ice-making applications. The 8000 series does not require activation, making it easier to install. The Cuno CFS8812X is a point-of-change type filter cartridge, used where the treated water is discharged for usage. It has an integrated scale inhibition system that prevents the scaling of kitchen appliances. Its capacity is 9,000 gallons. It has a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design that helps in easier installation and a quicker change of cartridges. The flow rate is 1.5 gpm (5.7 lpm). The cartridge is made of FDA CFR-21 compliant and/or NSF certified materials.
